Know your bisdak(bisayang-dako): you may know bisdak(bisayang-dako)..you may live with a bisdak(bisayang-dako) or have lived with a bisdak(bisayang-dako).. have you lived as bisdak(bisayang-dako)?

Here's a clue: we bisdaks love things that are mild..mild lifestyle, mild fashion, mild food and mild woman but most of all, pinoy-bisdak love mild coffee.

This morning i decyded to make my own home made corn coffee. corn coffee? you read that right! the common coffee we use are made from roasted and grounded coffee beans. But when i was young, I still am, my family enjoys traditional corn coffee in the morning. So right after I dropped my (mild)Rhea in school for work, I went straight to the market to buy yellow, size 10 grain corn. i bought 3 kilos of grounded corn but i only set aside 2 cups of corn for the roasting.the rest will be used to replace my rice*.

So here's what i did, I prepared the ff:
wok-1
grounded yellow corn (size 10) -2 cups
1 wooden(prefered) sandok to stir. If there is none, regular metal stirrer will do

Procedure for roasting: (its soo elementary!) 1.heat the wok (high heat 1st then mid heat as soon as the corn turns dark)
2.place the 2 cups of corn
3.and stir until the corn is fully roasted
WARNING: do not over roast it! just achieve the right dark brown color.
4. cool it down(i used the fan)
5. place in a seal-able glass jar when you decide to drink the roasted corn.

This is my preferred preparation:
1. I used the same system in preparing coffee using coffee maker; a.install filter .and put a 2 table spoon sized roasted corn coffee in the filter
2. place 2 cups of water on the water tank of the coffee maker .
3.turn on the power  and wait
3. pour on the mug the corn coffee, empty 2 sachets of coffee creamer, and brown sugar of yer desired preference , stir , drink and enjoy! if you like it..buy me coffee!

Disclaimer: everything that I wrote is accurately in accordance to how i just did my coffee 2day. any sort of health issue thereof I am not responsible. one thing is for sure..IT CAN BE VERY ADDICTIVE TO SOME PEOPLE when done right. please use mildly.

*corn is a safer replacement for diabetics in replacement for rice(but this is another blogg)
