(its a Filipino hospitality greeting that means "alive" or wishing you life or good life).

I am a Filipino and and a Jesus Freak. I didn't choose to be a Filipino, but our good Lord planned me to be here for his glory. I live in a country with full of dignity and painted with mignificent colors of different cultures. We are a country fused with cultures all over. We have cultures and traditions different from every Island, all 7,100 of them. And because of this we are also subject for corruption and abuse. We are constantly exploited by either Local and foreign people,but we persevere, we move on; Sometimes we bow our heads, but we still walk forward and display our smiles politely saying "Mabuhay".I am happy and proud to be a Filipino. I am proud of our heritage, proud of our history. And I believe I am here for a purpose, greater purpose, this country, this land these people who feared God most.
